PRAISE IS EXPANDING
-
MORE ROOM.
When our church reaches its physical capacity, we face a pivotal choice. Will we shut our doors to the community, or will we boldly stretch our limits and sacrifice for those who have yet to join us?
-
MORE PEOPLE.
The only treasures we take into eternity are the souls we touch. Embracing those without a home in our community is one of the greatest privileges we hold.
-
MORE TESTIMONY.
Increasing our numbers isn't the ultimate measure of success for our church; it's the profound interactions those individuals have with the Father. Each new person brings with them the potential for a life-changing encounter with God, creating testimonies that inspire and uplift us all.
BUILDING UPDATES
-
We’re excited to share that the next phase of our gym remodel is underway—we are currently in the process of obtaining permits! This space will soon be transformed into a fully equipped worship area designed to welcome more people and create room for growth. Our heart is to provide an environment where lives are changed, testimonies are shared, and God’s presence is experienced in fresh and powerful ways. As we move forward, we invite you to pray with us and partner in this vision to expand our reach and bring glory to His name.
-
We soft launched our coffee ministry in January, now serving freshly brewed coffee in the lobby, rather than the Keurig pods. This is an exciting first step toward opening a fully functioning café down the line, which would provide opportunities for connections, and conversations.
-
The two main offices are remodeled, which is home base for our administrative team, and our Family Life Pastor, Erik Berling, has a newly remodeled office too. Our classroom space “Room 112” has been revamped and was ready in time for the Small Group Leader Training and the first set of Jesus Journey Classes.
Staff Updates
We are thrilled to welcome our newest staff members at Praise Community Church!
Originally from Colorado, Andrew Gordon brings a blend of construction skill, ministry experience, and creative vision to Praise. Before moving to Pennsylvania, he spent several years in Texas as part of a Christian dance company, where he met his wife, CJ, who was raised in Glen Rock, PA.
Andrew and CJ have attended Praise for several years and are actively invested in the church community. Andrew is passionate about caring for the house of God and partnering with the Holy Spirit to build the Kingdom. Alongside his work in construction, he co-founded Consuming Fire Films with CJ, a ministry that shares the love of Christ through dance and video, living out the truth of Psalm 127:1: “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
Leah Yost has been part of the Praise Community Church family since birth and has always carried a heart for serving others. With a recent degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Valley Forge, along with her leadership experience, personable nature, attention to detail, and go-getter attitude, Leah is a natural fit for our team.
Throughout her years at Praise, she has faithfully served in many areas, including the nursery, Rise and Shine classrooms, and as a greeter, and most recently loved helping lead VBS, where she enjoyed investing in children and supporting the team. Outside of work, Leah enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking and camping, and training for a half marathon, and hopes to one day pursue a career as a teacher
