OASIS (our 60s & Older Fellowship Group) is excited to host their 2nd Annual Groundhog Day Celebration on Sunday, February 1st, immediately following the 11:00 AM service (12:15 PM)!

Come enjoy food, fellowship, and a fun afternoon inspired by Pennsylvania’s own Punxsutawney Phil. Several “Groundhog Main Dishes” will be provided — including crowd-favorite “Sloppy Phils” — along with water.

What to bring:

Your own plates, bowls, and silverware. A dish to share featuring foods groundhogs love:

Greens, Fruits (berries, cherries, apples), Vegetables (carrots, celery, corn, peas, beans)

Baptism Sunday

Baptism is a powerful and meaningful step in the life of a believer. It is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and a symbol of being made new in Him. As we are immersed in water and raised again, baptism reflects identification with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, leaving the old life behind and stepping into new life in Christ.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation and an act of obedience to Jesus. While it does not bring salvation, it joyfully declares a heart surrendered to Him and a commitment to follow Him wholeheartedly.

If you’ve recently committed your life to Christ, or if you’ve never been baptized since believing, we invite you to take this step of faith. Our church family would be honored to celebrate this milestone with you.

Child Dedication is a meaningful moment where parents publicly commit to raising their child to know God and make Him known. Scripture shows this practice in 1 Samuel 1, when Hannah presents Samuel to the Lord, and in Luke 2:22, when Mary and Joseph bring Jesus to the temple.

Children belong to God. “Children are a heritage from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3). During this dedication, parents acknowledge their stewardship over God’s children and commit to leading them to love and serve Jesus Christ. This moment is not for salvation, but a public declaration that your child belongs to God.

Our prophetic prayer teams will pray over each child ahead of time, and those prophetic words will be recorded and given to parents on the day of the dedication.
