ROOTED IN EZEKIEL 47:1-12
Filled to Overflow
In Ezekiel’s vision, water flows from the temple of God. The water begins as a small trickle and gradually becomes a river so deep that it is over your head and must be swam in. Wherever the river flows, everything comes to life, even in the barren places.
Fishermen stand shoulder to shoulder along the shore where they spread their nets. The river holds a large number of many kinds of fish.
On both sides of the riverbanks grow many types of fruit trees, each bearing fruit every month. Their fruit is for eating and their leaves for healing because of His living waters.
In the same way, Overflow Kids helps children begin right where they are and grow deeper with God year after year. They move from just knowing about God to walking in His love and power.
As our children are filled with God’s Word, worship, and the knowledge of how to pray with His power and authority, they become an overflow — bringing life, joy, and hope to their families, schools, and communities.
Their overflow is meant to be shared! God’s blessings flow out from each child to those around them through their faith and movement.
How Will Your Child Grow in Overflow?
At Overflow Kids, we are intentional about helping children grow into mature, Christ-centered followers of Jesus.
In Overflow Kids, children:
Encounter Jesus personally and are invited to respond to Him in faith
Learn how to talk with God, hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, and build a daily prayer life
Discover how God uniquely created them and identify their gifts
Grow in worship, confidence, and biblical understanding
Learn to serve others and live generously
Live out their faith in practical, everyday ways
We believe spiritual growth happens over time. Our vision is to raise up a generation deeply rooted in God’s Word, passionate about Jesus, and ready to impact their families, schools, and community with the life of Christ flowing through them.

First Visit Check-In
When you arrive, visit the New Children’s Check-In Desk [insert picture from a Sunday morning with volunteers at check-in desk] located at the bottom of the stairs just outside Children’s Ministry.
There, we will:
Register your child in our secure system
Ask about allergies or medical needs (these print directly on your child’s name tag)
Provide your child with a printed name tag
Give you a matching security tag for pick-up
If we need to reach you during service, you will receive a text message or see your child’s security number displayed on the screen.
A matching security tag is required for dismissal. If a tag is misplaced, a photo ID must be verified in our system before your child is released.
Returning Families
On future Sundays, you can check your child in directly at their classroom, where you will receive their name tag and matching security tag.

Each environment is intentionally structured for your child’s stage of development.
Nursery (Infants – 18 months)
Our nursery provides a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where our youngest children are lovingly cared for by our team. We want parents to feel confident that their babies are being cared for while they are growing in their own relationship with God.
Toddlers (18 months – 3 years)
Toddlers experience a fun, engaging environment designed to help them begin learning simple truths from the Bible. Their time includes age-appropriate teaching, snack time, and supervised play, giving them opportunities to learn, explore, and begin building a foundation of faith.
Preschool – Kindergarten
Preschool and Kindergarten children experience a fun and interactive environment where they can learn about God through worship, Bible lessons, crafts, hands-on activities, snack time, and play. Each element is designed to help them engage with God’s Word in ways that make sense for their age and stage of development.
1st – 6th Grade
Elementary students begin together with a time of worship before transitioning into grade-based classrooms for more focused teaching and connection. In their classrooms, students experience biblical teaching, discussion, activities, and snack time while also having opportunities to participate in Seed Sowers outreach, helping them understand that their faith is meant to impact the world around them.
7th & 8th Grade
Our 7th and 8th grade students join the adults for worship before returning to their classroom for teaching and discussion specifically designed for their age and stage of faith. At this age, students are not required to be signed in or out by an adult, but attendance is taken in the classroom each week so our team knows who is present and can continue caring for and investing in each student.
Each week, our 1st–6th graders participate in Seed Sowers, an outreach born out of our desire to give back to our community and the world.
Once a month, students focus on one ministry partner for a three-month period. They learn about that ministry and actively sow into it through:
Prayer
Generosity
Acts of service
Learning about real community needs
Students also grow in personal responsibility by:
Bringing their Bible
Learning memory verses
Showing honor
Each week, children actively participate by placing “seed” stickers on a personal growth chart and physical “seeds” in our hallway displays as a visible reminder of what they can accomplish together and how they can bless the community when they work as a team. JOIN THE OVERFLOW
Overflow Kids is powered by an incredible team of volunteers who love Jesus and love the next generation. Together, we create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn about God, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to live in His overflow.
Our teams serve on a four-week rotation, allowing volunteers to serve faithfully while still having opportunities to participate in corporate worship. Whether you serve as a classroom teacher, helper, worship or motion leader, greeter, or part of our check-in team, there’s a place for you.
When you serve in Overflow Kids, you’re not just filling a role—you’re investing in the next generation and helping raise children who will overflow with faith, hope, and the love of Jesus into their families, schools, and communities.
