Firstly, our group of 18 have arrived safely! Their red-eye flight from NYC to Santo Domingo, D.R. arrived yesterday morning. The report so far is that most are tired, but are very much enjoying Dominican cuisine! See photos below from their travels.
AN UNEXPECTED WRINKLE
As some of you probably already have heard, Carey DuRand had to forfeit her seat on the trip due to health reasons. Please pray for her full recovery! At the last moment, her daughter, Tessa, fielded the call to replace her. Interestingly, Tessa just days ago had a dream that she would go on this very trip as a last-minute decision. That dream has definitively come to pass!
TOILETS MIRACULOUSLY HEALED?
One issue that some girls reported last night was a toilet malfunction at the YWAM base in San Pedro. Apparently, adult leader Amy Gotwalt sprung into mountain moving faith mode! Amy prayed for the toilets to... function, and, as reported by the girls, they began working again! Praise God for that and for the faith in Amy and others to pray with authority!

Technology Issues
We're not exactly sure why last night's 9 PM Instagram LIVE video by Novalea & company did not post to our IGTV page. It might have been because of poor WiFi or another reason.
